Come learn more about the UW Bothell Interdisciplinary Arts & Sciences graduate programs and find out about admissions requirements and application deadlines.

Graduate education in the School of Interdisciplinary Arts & Sciences (IAS) links theory and practice with the goal of developing creative and critical thinkers and doers. We offer flexible programs of study that are responsive to the research interests, artistic ambitions, and professional aspirations of our students.

Master of Arts in Cultural Studies is designed for students who want to become effective community practitioners and engaged scholars. We offer an interdisciplinary approach to the study of culture as both a field of inquiry and a means of engagement.

Master of Arts in Policy Studies is dedicated to policy for the public good. We develop the next generation of policy leaders, teaching the critical and professional skills needed to address contemporary challenges across public, private and non-profit sectors.

Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing & Poetics is dedicated to helping students develop their creative work through a course of study that encourages exploration across genres and media. Workshops, seminars, and salons support experimentation and inquiry.
